Jonah Berger suggests keeping a conversation diary in his book Contagious. He says it’s a good way of opening our ears to how much we talk about products, brands, the small bits and pieces of everyday life…

Good idea! It could work really well as a pre-task for customer closeness and U&A projects, or just something a qualitative researcher asked all their respondents to do before each and every interview.
